Glider Information

Little Cloud makes lots of different gliders for different conditions.  We want to make sure you choose the best glider for your flying style and conditions.  Here is information about each glider.

Urubu Mk2

The Urubu Mk2 is Little Cloud's XC glider. With 6.1 aspect, we consider it like a C wing, but it handles like a B. It's safe, easy to handle, and hunts out thermals and climbs with ease! We've found a lot of pilots choose this glider for high wind soaring at the coast because it is trimmed fast.
Gracchio Mk3

The Gracchio is an all around fun machine! Whether you are ripping around the coast in any wind range, or thermalling in the mountains in light or strong conditions, the Gracchio does it all! This wing is a great stepping stone for getting into higher wind soaring, for pilots who want to get a size or two smaller than their normal paragliding setup and get into the air safely, or for beginner pilots coming from an A or high B wing.
It comes in many sizes: 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 27 -- so you can choose the exact size for you.
Puffin v2
The Puffin!!!! We call this one the quiver killer!!
Now on its second version, it's even more fun and performant than before (how is that possible?)! For dune goonin', coastal soaring, speed flying or mountain decents, and even thermaling - this wing does it all! It's like the smaller version of the Gracchio, coming in two sizes 16 & 19. Like any Little Cloud, you can easily swap the standard risers out and add kite risers to make this a whole new glider! It is fun, playful, rolley, precise, and efficient with standard OR kite risers! This one is special because there is no other wing like it on the market!
See what pilots are saying!!

Puffin v2 Reviews

See the Puffin v2 video here: Puffin v2 on YouTube

"I flew the 16m first, it felt solid/more stable, for a second I was second guessing if I was flying the 19m for both the 16m and 19m inflation is pretty subdued, could easily control the rise with minimal input on the As, even in stronger wind. V2 is noticeably faster, and has more roll and dive. The handling is more precise, it feels like it's on rails. The wingtips are tuned more solid which I think contributes to the overall feeling of stability. The brake pressure seemed a little lighter through the range and it feels like V2 wants to fly. It took some effort to stall and it recovers quickly as soon as you move your hands up a little. I was already expecting an improved Puffin, but this definitely surprised me!" - Michael

"The Puffin V2 instantly put a big smile on my face! Light, effortless inputs, razor sharp turns, and a wing that responds great to slight harness shifts, pure fun from start to finish!" -Kevin

"The Puffin v2 takes the best wing in the Little Cloud lineup and takes it to the next level. Increased responsiveness with rock solid reliability, the wing feels extremely stable even in deep wingovers and flying a size larger than listed, perfect for still wanting to rip when it gets lighter. Paired with kite risers this will be a welcome improvement on an already great platform!" - Owen

"The new Puffin is interesting; the amount of lift was amazing! Staying up on a 19 at my wing loading was a bit of a surprise. It felt like similar lift performance to my Gracchio 21, with more available speed, snappier, and of course swingier turns. The wing responds well to C steering and I also noticed the wing absorbs turbulence, flexing a bit and dampening the pilot load." -Brandon

"I have hundreds of hours on the Puffin and flying the v2 was love at first flight!! My first instinct: 'Precise'. Everything felt natural and easy, and the glider did exactly what I asked it to do. I flew the 16 (with standard risers) first, which is my favorite size and one I currently fly the most. It was so easy to handle from the time you pull it up, to take off (even in strong wind), to turning the glider. It doesn't pull on take off and feels more playful and rolley in the air. We traded out the standard risers to kite risers and it was equally as fun and responsive, with light pressure on the toggles. I rarely fly anything bigger than a 16m at the coast anymore but was curious how the 19 would feel; I was surprised even at my light wing loading how responsive it was! I launched it in stronger conditions than I normally would and expected to get pulled a bit, but I didn't! It was fast enough to penetrate in the strong winds and I was surprised to be flying around others on smaller gliders than me. The range the new V2 can fly in is incredible!" - Bonnie

"When I first took a spin on the 16 and 19 V2 last week my initial impression was "it's good." I looooove the Puffin and have tons of hours on all sizes so I figured it was hard to beat. After racking up a few hours on the V2 I revise my initial impression: "it's amazing!" What I found was that it was immediately familiar and didn't feel all that different initially, but that's just because the V2 is so easy to fly that I felt immediately at home on it. Now that I have some time on it what I think is:

If you've already flown a Puffin, get ready for something more!
If you've never flown a Puffin, get ready to have your mind blown!!

With standard risers this is hands down the best miniwing on the market! There's literally nothing else in its class and it's a class above all other miniwings! Fast, precise, amazing glide, and ridiculously fun roll combined with incredible stability! The V2 is a little faster, a little more energetic, and has better into the wind performance than the original.

With kite risers it dethrones the Puffin as the most reactive and fun wing! There are other parakites on the market that are faster, and steeper, but there are none that handle like the Puffin! You get a fun amount of speed and dive but still retain most of the fun rolly characteristics of the wing and there's simply no other parakite that has this level of precision and roll response. For soaring it's just amazing! Compared to the original the brake pressure is lighter and it's more divey in the roll and builds energy faster. It's easier to snap turn and pops with more energy and has a bit better glide and into the wind performance. Compared to the Mouette it's just better in every axis but definitely takes more piloting so isn't quite as easy to fly.

I'm super excited to keep racking up hours on the new Puffin V2, go out and try one asap!"

SuperFly
The SuperFly is our lightweight glider that works great as a swiss army knife "second glider" that does it all: packs small and super light, take it with you anywhere for hike and fly, coastal soaring, and XC! With 5.5 aspect, it doesn't compromise on anything and has incredible performance for its ease of use, and it only weighs less than 3kg!
La Mouette
La Mouette is our kite riser specific wing and is the super soaring machine! When you want the full range of speed at your fingertips and to play with the terrain, there’s nothing more fun! It’s easy to launch in strong wind and doesn’t pull! It's fast and efficient, yet docile at the same time!
The Spiruline
The Spiruline: the mini wing of mini wings! The one that started it all! We choose this glider for speed flying and going down the mountain fast, or for turbo soaring at the coast! It has lots of energy and the challenge to keep it close to the terrain makes it fun when we're speed flying! In the mini wing game: the aspect is high, but in our quiver, it's our lowest aspect wing. This makes for fun and safe turbo soaring when flying in strong winds, as you're not climbing as high as a Puffin or Gracchio.
GT2
The GT2 is our student glider and it is faster and lighter than other student wings which makes learning easy and fun!! Students can get a better feel and understanding of the wing when they are learning to kite. Our 24 is a certified B and takes the cake in safety!
Puffin Bi
The Puffin Bi is, hands down, the most fun tandem wing out there! It's the Puffin ....but bigger: 29m²! It feels like you're flying solo and is very efficient and turns on a dime! We fly this at the coast, and in thermals!
